Heavy duty range to refresh a weary worktop
When Jack Gordon Decorating were approached by a new client who wanted a good repair and freshen up for his tenant’s kitchen worktop, they knew Polyvine’s Heavy Duty range was the perfect go to product for giving this worktop ultimate protection.
The original worktop was in quite a bad state, so they started with using a coarse sandpaper in the Rotex sander to get the worst parts out, and then working down through coarses to finish it with a really fine sandpaper to prepare it for its first coat of varnish.
They then dusted it off, and did an all over check to ensure it was even and smooth, and then vacuumed the top and finished with a tack cloth to make sure it was completely dust free.
They started with applying 2 coats of Polyvine Heavy Duty Extreme Varnish in Clear Satin, making sure to adhere to the appropriate drying times between coats, and sanding in between where necessary.
The worktop was then given a final coat of Polyvine Heavy Duty Wood Varnish in Clear Dead Flat, to give a shine free finish to this beautiful kitchen.
