Wallpaper – a trend for 2024. The word on the street is that wallpaper is back bigger and better for next year, set to be an interior trend for the new year.

Our decorators’ varnish goes hand in hand with wallpapering. and if you are picking up a few rolls of wallpaper, then you should also be picking up some Polyvine decorator’s varnish to protect it. Choose a satin or dead flat finish (depending on your wallpaper of choice – remember the dead flat will take any shine off your chosen design), and once the paper is hung and the paste is completely dry, apply 2-3 layers of varnish over the top to give it long-lasting durability.
If you have invested money in a bold and beautiful paper packed with glorious colour, then the last thing you want is for it to fade over time thanks to extended exposure to UV. Our decorators’ varnish is UV resistant, so your wallpaper design will stay bright and pop with colour for years to come.
If you simply want a satin finish, then 2-3 coats of our satin decorators varnish will do the job.
If you prefer a dead flat finish, apply 2 coats of satin first, followed by a coat of dead flat to get the best durability.
